Application of crystal oscillator in car Bluetooth
Bluetooth module is a PCBA board with integrated Bluetooth function, which is used for short-range wireless communication. It is divided into Bluetooth data module and Bluetooth voice module according to its function. Bluetooth module refers to the basic circuit set of chip with integrated Bluetooth function, which is used for wireless network communication. It can be roughly divided into three types: data transmission module, Bluetooth audio module, Bluetooth audio + data two-in-one module, etc. The general module has the properties of a semi-finished product, which is processed on the basis of the chip to make subsequent applications simpler.
As a short-range wireless communication technology that replaces data cables, Bluetooth supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication, and wirelessly connects various data and voice devices in the home or office into a pico-net (Pico-net). Several pico-nets can be further interconnected to form a distributed network (scatter-net), so as to achieve fast and convenient communication between these connected devices. This article introduces the implementation of Bluetooth interface on embedded digital signal processor OMAP5910. DSP samples analog signals and processes digital signals after A/D conversion, and transmits them to the receiving end through Bluetooth interface. Similarly, DSP performs D/A conversion on the digital signals received by Bluetooth to become analog signals.
The role of crystal oscillators in car Bluetooth
Crystal oscillators are devices used in car Bluetooth modules to wirelessly transmit audio, calls, and data inside the vehicle.
1. Provide a stable clock signal:
In Bluetooth communication, the crystal oscillator acts as a timer to provide a stable and accurate clock signal to the device. This clock signal will be used to synchronize the sending and receiving operations of Bluetooth devices to ensure that data transmission between devices can proceed smoothly. Through the clock signal provided by the crystal oscillator, the Bluetooth device can identify and parse the received data signal based on the synchronized clock.
2. Synchronous data processing:
The accuracy of the crystal oscillator is very important for the stability and reliability of Bluetooth communication. If the clock signal provided by the crystal oscillator is inaccurate, the communication between devices may have problems such as deviation or packet loss, affecting the quality and rate of communication.
Crystal oscillator requirements for car Bluetooth
Common frequency points: 16Mhz, 24Mhz, 26Mhz
Miniaturization and reliability: Bluetooth modules are divided into data Bluetooth modules, serial Bluetooth modules, voice Bluetooth modules, and car Bluetooth modules according to their uses. 3225 passive crystal oscillators are widely used in many Bluetooth devices. It provides a stable and accurate frequency signal. This 3225 package is a small and common package type.
Passive crystal oscillators can resist the influence of external electromagnetic interference on car Bluetooth modules, provide clear and stable audio and data transmission, save energy and extend battery life.
